I said i'd update this more regularly and i don't manage to upload a new journal for another six months, even though i come here pretty much every day. Pathetic really.

Lots has happened, i've got my hands on three more cameras, a Ricoh 35ZF, Canonet QL 25, both picked up for real cheap on Ebay, and a Pentax ME which i'm currently loaning from a friend of mine. Mucking around with film is awesome, i highly recommend any photographer to shoot through a few roles, it really makes you think about what you're taking a picture of, as there's no instant preview and you certainly can't just 'spray and pray'. Plus i love that 'film look' that you simply cannot achieve with digital.

I'm really into the whole strobist thing, and since the last journal i've picked up a Sigma 530 Super hot shoe flash, which has been excellent for my needs, as well as a set of two wireless recievers and a transmitter so that i can used my existing flash. They're just the cheap Ebay ones, but i really haven't had a problem with them. They obviously have their limitations, but for the price they're an excellent learning tool.

I have a stack of stuff which i really should upload here, and i've been making a bit of cash recently photographing portraits of partners for various formals and such, it's great work that i really enjoy.
